Perak confident Lenggong Valley will be listed as World Heritage Site

The Perak government is confident that the Lenggong Valley will soon be listed as a World Heritage Site by the Unites Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).

Malaysia submitted the nomination for Lenggong Valley on Jan 31 last year and the results is expected to be known after the UNESCO convention in Africa.

Kelantan wants to work with Perak to lure tourists

Kelantan wants to cooperate with Perak to attract tourists to the two states in line with this year's Visit Kelantan Year and Visit Perak Year.

Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan, chairman of the State Government's Tourism and Culture Committee hoped that the cooperation would enable Kelantan to meet the target of six million tourist arrivals.

Opening ceremony of Kompleks Al-Sa'adah

D.Y.M.M. Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir graced the opening ceremony of the Kompleks Al-Sa'adah.

The concept of its architecture is a combination of the Xian Mosque, which has a courtyard and pavilion with an adaptation of the characteristics and beliefs of the Muslim community. The ‘mihrab’ was designed by Muslim Chinese calligrapher from Beijing while the area of priests is from Uzbekistan.
