| In terms of organisational structure, ITC shall be headed by a Director General (DG) and assisted by three Directors, three Executive Officers, one Personal Assistant to the DG, one Administrative Officer and Administrative Assistant cum Secretary and one Driver cum Messenger. The Director General shall be appointed by the Secretary-General, in consultation with the Hon. Minister of Tourism, Malaysia. The Director General shall be appointed for a period of two years which could be renewed, with a maximum of three terms amounting to six years. The Director General will have the flexibility to develop the organisational structure and staffing arrangements necessary to fulfil the mission statement and strategic objectives of the Centre, including the development and implementation of the business plan, subject to the approval by the Board of Directors. The Director General shall ensure that the composition of the staff cadre is competent and will follow a process of appointments approved by the Board.
