Kuala Lumpur, 17^th February, 2011 - In conjunction with the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Uzbekistan and Malaysia the delegation from Uzbekistan headed by the Deputy Chairman of Council of Friendship Societies and Cultural and Educational Relations with Foreign Countries of Uzbekistan Mr. Zakir Abidov will be visiting Malaysia together with Director of the Sergili Professional College of Tashkent Mr. Az'am Holmurodov alongside 7 teachers and students of this college.

H.E. Ali Ahmed Karti, Foreign Minister of the Republic of The Sudan is currently in an Official Visit to Malaysia from 20-23 February 2012.

His visit is expected to strengthen the bond of bilateral cooperation between both Governments as well as accord an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on matters of mutual interest.

Appointed by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC) will organise the “Third Country Seminar on Community Based Tourism/TICAD IV Follow up”, from 20^th February until 2^nd March 2012 at Grand Bluewave Hotel, Shah Alam.

The seminar is the 2^nd capacity-building project by ITC and JICA with 20 participants from 11 countries in the African region. The opening ceremony was officiated by the Malaysian Deputy Minister of Tourism, Dato’ Dr. James Dawos Mamit.
