Organised for the 4th time by the National Department of Culture and Arts Malaysia (JKKN), Iftar@KL 2015 is a continuation of 2014’s Ramadan Festival held at Kuala Lumpur iconic landmark, The Sultan Abdul Samad Building along the Merdeka Square.
In this year’s festival, JKKN will be hosting iftar or breaking of fast, open to all Malaysians and tourists, plus an array of pocket activities including Tadarus Al Quran, Tarawih prayers in congregation, Ramadan zikir, Islamic arts and mosque tourism exhibitions and firework shows.
ITC will be one of the co-organisers of the event with Tourism Malaysia, Federal Territory Religious Department (JAWI) and Department of Natonal Heritage together with two neighboring mosques, KL’s Jamek Mosque and National Mosque.
All are invited to participate and experience this colorful celebration every weekend of Ramadan month beginning 20, 27 of June and continued on 4 and 11 of July 2015. Visitors can expect avalanche of free samples of Malaysia’s unique food all around, including the famous “bubur lambuk”.
