Seminar Industri Halal – Edisi Pantai Timur

The 4th installment of ITC’s “Halal Industry Seminar” is slated to be held in Terengganu off the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia on 15 September 2015.  The East Coast Edition edition will be held at the Convention Centre, Islamic Civilisation Park Terengganu (TTI), the park being one of the most popular Islamic tourism attractions in Malaysia.

The East Coast Edition is the collaborative effort of ITC with Pesona Terengganu, the state’s tourism development body together with Tourism Malaysia Terengganu as well as the office of Ministry of Tourism and Culture Terengganu. Beyond local audience, the seminar also welcomes participation from  the neighbouring states of Kelantan and Pahang.

In Terengganu, the seminar will be bringing to the industry players for the first time, Ustaz Muhammad Naim Abdul Aziz, an Assistant Director of JAKIM’s Halal Hub. An experienced auditor and one of key personnels at the Hub’s enforcement unit, Ustaz Muhammad Naim’s paper will give prominent highlights to Halal certification  procedures with hotel and restaurant owners as primary target audience. En. Ismail Hisham AZ, General Manager of the PNB Perdana on the Park (formerly known as PNB Darby Park) will be a returning speaker to the seminar for the third time to present industry’s success story in implementing Halal syste . For the the local segment, a representative from Pesona Terengganu will be sharing latest updates, opportunities and challenges faced by the industry players promoting Islamic tourism in the state.

All papers presented at the seminar will be conducted in Bahasa Melayu. RM20.00 administration fee will be charged during registration. Fee is waived for university / college students but subject to seats availability.
