Masjid An-Nur, Tuaran

Masjid An-Nur in Tuaran was officiated in April 1999 by Tun Datuk Panglima Haji Sakaran Dandai, a former Sabah State Governor. It is located within a Bajau village.
The mosque features a contemporary, futuristic design with a geometric-shaped roof. Its dome looks like a smaller version of Masjid Negara’s iconic open-umbrella dome. This dome is flanked by four scalpel-shaped minarets at each corner. The front of the building where its main entrance is located is characterised by a unique pattern of overlapping arches.
