MALAYSIAN Airline System Bhd has been sued by GIRO — Warranty House International Inc, which is seeking damages of up to US$80 million (RM239 million).

“MAS was served with a complaint in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma on August 22 2011.

GIRO — Warranty House International alleges breach of contract and fraudulent misrepresentation and seeks damages of up to US$80 million.

“MAS is reviewing the complaint with the assistance of external counsel,” it said in its filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
